Straight answers about what PostVery does.
Product
PostVery is independent shipping software for Indian online sellers who dispatch through India Post. It brings order import, shipment preparation, booking-file generation, label printing and shipment records into one workspace, so dispatch does not depend on a chain of spreadsheets.
No. PostVery is an independent shipping software product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by India Post. All postal services, tariffs and delivery commitments remain the responsibility of the postal department and your own account arrangements.
Integrations
A Shopify integration is in private beta. It syncs orders into a dispatch queue, supports bulk shipment preparation and writes shipment references back to the order. The app is not yet published on the Shopify App Store, so connections are opened in batches from the waitlist.
A WooCommerce integration is in private beta. You can connect a store with scoped REST API credentials over HTTPS, import orders by status and date range, process them in bulk and store shipment references in order meta. The helper plugin has not been published to the WordPress plugin directory yet.
Booking
Yes. Spreadsheet import is the workflow available in early access today. Upload a CSV, XLS or XLSX file, map the columns once, and PostVery validates each row before preparing shipments. The mapping is saved for your next import.
For ordinary counter booking you do not need one. For bulk booking workflows and for any direct API booking, India Post applies its own eligibility rules and approvals, and those arrangements are between your business and the department. PostVery prepares and organises the data; it does not grant postal access.
Excel booking means PostVery generates a structured booking file that you submit through your own India Post channel, then import the returned result to attach article numbers. API booking means consignments are created programmatically against an eligible contractual account with credentials issued to your business. Excel booking is available to most sellers; API booking depends on approval and is not guaranteed for every account.
Operations
Yes. Select a batch and generate a merged PDF for thermal 4x6 rolls or A4 sheets. References are allocated in a duplicate-safe way, reprints reuse the original reference, and a dispatch manifest can be produced for the batch.
PostVery maintains a shipment history and operational queues for delayed, failed and returning consignments. How current the status is depends on the tracking data source connected to your workspace, and the interface always shows the last successful refresh time rather than implying live data.
Yes, as a matching workspace. COD amounts are recorded with the shipment, settlement statements can be imported and matched, discrepancies are flagged and period reports can be exported. Fully automated matching depends on your statements carrying usable references — PostVery does not have independent access to your remittances.
Account
Multiple connected stores are part of the Growth and Business plan designs, with all channels feeding one dispatch queue. The Starter plan is scoped to a single store.
Each plan includes a provisional monthly allowance of shipment records — one record per consignment prepared in PostVery, regardless of whether it came from a store sync, an import or manual entry. Reprinting a label does not consume another record. Paid checkout is not open yet, so trials currently place you in the early-access queue without collecting card details.
