India Post Shipping Automation for WooCommerce

Replace the export-clean-paste loop with a connected dispatch queue. Orders import from WordPress, consignments are prepared in bulk, and shipment references go back onto the order.

The helper plugin has not been published to the WordPress plugin directory. Beta stores connect with REST credentials.

Connecting your store

  1. 1

    Check requirements

WooCommerce 7.0+, PHP 7.4+, HTTPS and permalinks set to anything other than Plain so REST routes resolve.

  2. 2

    Create REST credentials

WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API → Add key. Set Read/Write permissions and copy the key pair once.

  3. 3

    Connect in PostVery

Paste the consumer key and secret into the store connection screen. Credentials are stored server-side and never exposed in the browser.

  4. 4

    Map statuses and fields

Choose which order statuses enter the dispatch queue, which status is set after handover, and map any custom checkout fields.

Credentials stay server-side. Keys are stored encrypted, used only for order reads and meta writes, and can be revoked from WordPress without contacting us. They are never sent to the browser.

What the integration does

  • Secure store connectionScoped REST credentials over HTTPS, revocable from WordPress at any time.
  • Order import and syncImport by status and date range, then keep the queue updated as new orders arrive.
  • Bulk processingPrepare consignments, allocate references and generate labels for an entire batch.
  • References in order metaShipment references are written to predictable meta keys your theme or emails can read.
  • Configurable workflowsDecide what is dispatch-ready and what happens to the order after handover.
  • Compatibility-consciousBuilt on the WooCommerce REST API, HPOS supported, no reliance on theme internals.

Compatibility requirements

  • WooCommerce 7.0 or newer on PHP 7.4 or newer
  • HTTPS with a valid certificate
  • Pretty permalinks enabled for REST routes
  • High Performance Order Storage (HPOS) supported via REST
  • Heavily customised checkouts may need a one-time field mapping
